By now you've probably heard some rumblings of how Rage Against the Machine "Killing in the Name" is the number one "Christmas single" in the U.K., beating out some Simon Cowell manufactured karaoke tripe.
The story is a bit involved because if you don't follow the chart system in the U.K. (and most people in North America don't) you may not understand what a Christmas single is, and why it's such a big deal over there.
