Ben Folds Five - The Sound of the Life of the Mind
Ben Folds Five reunited last year to record new studio tracks for their career spanning collection The Best Imitation of Myself: A Retrospective. Earlier this year the band recorded a full length new album and launched a fan-to-band grassroots campaign via pledgemusic to release their new record, The Sound OfThe Life Of The Mind. The successful album campaign piqued the interest of Sony, who went on to pick up the album and scheduled a September 18th worldwide release. Fans who contributed to the pledgemusic campaign will have access to an early exclusive release.
Ben Folds Five have also announced details for a fall North American tour which brings them to the Fillmore Detroit on October 2nd. The band's full tour itinerary and ticket information can be accessed here.
