White Stripes - Lafayette Blues

The White Stripes limited edition "Lafayette Blues" b/w "Sugar Never Tasted So Good" single sold on Ebay for $12,700. The initial listing started at $9.99 and quickly ramped up to $1000 in less than an hour. The single, featuring hand painted cover art, was released in 1998 by Italy Records and was one of only 15 copies pressed. Take a look at the listing and bidding history here.

Meanwhile, in an interview with BBC Radio 6, Jack White confirmed Radiohead recently recorded a session at Third Man Records studio in Nashville, however White himself wasn't a part of the session - he didn't play on, or even produce the session.
