The Smashing Pumpkins have announced details for the Oceania U.S. tour. The tour visuals were created by Sean Evans, who worked with Roger Waters for the recent staging of The Wall. Evans and the Smashing Pumpkins are utilizing new video mapping technology for an enhanced visual experience. According to Billy Corgan, the Smashing Pumpkins will be performing a mix of tracks from Oceania, some classic songs, and "deeper" cuts. The North American tour kicks off October 2nd in Winnepeg and includes a Detroit area stop October 23rd at the Palace. Canadian dates are on already on sale, and the pre-sale for most of the other dates (including the Detroit show) kicks off September 4th.
