Today the Africa Express Train tour kicks off in London and will be making various stops in England, Scotland, and Wales.  The tour features a collective of musicians who will be playing impromptu/unrehearsed gigs in unexpected non-traditional places (railways, clubs, schools, shopping plazas, etc).  Damon Albarn, members of Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Temper Trap, the Magic Numbers, and many more boarded the train this morning and are on their way to jam!

Jarvis Cocker from Pulp isn't a part of the tour, but he did show up to interview Damon Albarn and say his goodbyes before the train departed.  Video of the Jarvis/Damon interview isn't available yet, however you can take a look at a few pictures and video courtesy of Kaya Burgess below:

Damon Albarn didn't waste too much time before jamming out on the train.
