The Killers - Battle Born + North American tour

The Killers are back with their long anticipated fourth record Battle Born today. Sonically it's not much of a departure from their previous albums, so if you're been a fan of the band, this album will likely not disappoint. If you absolutely need to read someone else's opinion on the album, Spin wrote a pretty fair review of Battle Born which is posted here.

Yesterday the Killers announced dates for run of North America in November and December and the tour itinerary includes a Detroit area stop at the EMU Convocation Center in Ypsilanti for the Night 89X Stole Christmas on December 20th. Tickets go on sale Friday at 10am. Take a look at the full tour itinerary here.

Tonight don't miss the Killers live as part of the American Express Unstaged concert series. The band's show from Brooklyn will be directed by Werner Hertzog and will stream live here starting at 7pm ET. If you miss the live webcast, it will be available for on demand viewing for a limited period of time after the show.

The Killers have a couple of other late night appearances planned - on Wednesday, September 19th, they'll be on Letterman, and September 24th they'll perform on Jimmy Kimmel
