Here's the music news rundown for October 5th - 7th:

Blur are headlining Rock Werchter in Belgium next July and hinted other shows are planned for 2013.

Tickets for the annual Glastonbury Festival sold out in record time.

Drummer Barrett Martin announced a Mad Season boxset will be released March 12th and will included a remastered version of Above, a DVD with previously unreleased live footage, plus three new songs featuring Mark Lanegan.

Tori Amos played Radio City Music Hall on October 5th. Stream the audio archive of the show over at NPR. High quality video from Amos' October 3rd show in London is posted here.

Depeche Mode put a countdown clock on their official site. If you've read this blog recently, you shouldn't be surprised the clock counts down to October 23rd. Update - the band now confirms a press conference is scheduled for October 23rd at 1:30 pm Paris time, which will be webcast live
