Here are some of the stories making news today:

Public Image Limited announced their October 26th show in Reno will be webcast live. The band also moved their October 19th show in Detroit from the Royal Oak Music Theater to iLounge/Clutch Cargo's. Details on that are posted here.

Peter Gabriel was a guest dj on NPR's All Songs Considered. Check it out here.

Soundgarden announced a live gig has been scheduled for London next month. No other tour dates have been announced yet, though they are expected soon!

Neil Young's autobiography reviewed by the New Yorker.

Pitchfork posted a visually stunning cover story feature on Bats For Lashes - the graphics and display are phenomenal.
