Depeche Mode's management confirmed the band will be holding a press conference October 23rd in Paris to make an "exciting announcement." The band are expected to reveal info on their new album and their 2013 world tour. The press conference is scheduled for 1:30 pm local time (7:30 am ET) and will be webcast live on the net.
Blur are confirmed for two more live gigs in 2013. The band are playing Primavera Sound in Barcelona and Optimus Primavera Sound in Porto next summer.

New Order kicked off their North American tour in Oakland on Friday and both Rolling Stone and Spin posted reviews. Rolling Stone's review also reports the long-delayed outtakes record The Lost Sirens is scheduled to be released in November, and the band may do some additional touring in North and South America in 2013.
