New Order are preparing to release their long awaited album Lost Sirens, featuring songs recorded during the sessions for the 2005 album Waiting For The Sirens Call.  The release has been delayed for years due to strife and ongoing drama between New Order and ex-bassist Peter Hook, but the two parties recently agreed on terms and the album will be released soon-ish.  The album was supposed to be out by year's end (it was scheduled for November 15th in the U.K.), however the U.K. date has recently been pushed back to January 13th.  Stateside, Amazon is listing a January 22nd release date for the import vinyl (comes w/bonus CD) and is available to pre-order here. The tracklisting for Lost Sirens is posted below:

01.  I'll Stay With You
02.  Sugarcane
03.  Recoil
04.  Californian Grass
05.  Hellbent*
06.  Shake It Up
07.  I've Got A Feeling
08.  I Told You So**

*Original non-radio edit (different from version on Total)
**Previously unreleased mix

While you're here, why not watch the best New Order video ever? "Touched By The Hand Of God" is a masterpiece - my favorite part is Peter Hook's crotch thrusting. A small bit of the video (with thrusty goodness) was included in a Sunkist ad which featured New Order's "Blue Monday" with pro-orange fizzy lyrics. The ad reportedly was axed by the band's management and never aired, though a bit of the re-recording of "Blue Monday" wound up being released in 1995.
