French artist PV Nova recorded a 'chronological cover' of Daft Punk's smash single "Get Lucky," performing the song using different musical styles representative of decades 1920 - 2020. It's a pretty cool concept. Take a listen below and download a free mp3 of the cover here.  Via Exclaim.



Interesting to note that in a weird way, the 1950s version kinds sounds like the Cure's Robert Smith. Take another listen (cued up to the 50s):



PV Nova is also asking fans to create their own cover of "Get Lucky" - choose a decade, record your cover, then upload it to You Tube before July 10th. Read the full instructions over at PV Nova's site ( translated to English).
