Merchandise emerged out of Tampa's punk scene but over the years changed their sound to more of a lighter, alterna-indie pop vibe -- their 2012 album Children of Desire at times channels 80s acts such as Echo & the Bunnymen and the Smiths. Merchandise recently signed to 4AD and released a single titled "Begging For Your Life" a few months back, and they've followed it up with the new song "Figured Out," which will be released as part of a three-way split single for Record Store Day. [The split single also includes another Merchandise song titled "No You & Me," along with tracks from Destruction Unit, and Milk Music.]  A full length album from Merchandise follows later this year.

Check out "Figured Out" along with "Begging For Your Life" below, and don't miss Merchandise on the road this spring.
