Shelagh Delaney

One of Morrissey's biggest influences, Shelagh Delaney, died last Sunday, November 20th. Delaney was a poet and writer, and probably best known for her 1958 debut A Taste Of Honey. Delaney appeared on the cover of the Smiths' 1987 record Louder Than Bombs, and the song "This Night Has Opened My Eyes" is based on A Taste Of Honey.
