About a year after the release of Utd. State 90, 808 State dropped ex:el which featured a new version of "Cubik" plus guests on the record included Bernard Sumner and Bjork

808 State went on to release another fabulous record titled Gorgeous in 1993, with guest vocals from Ian McCulloch, UB40, and a song that sampled Joy Division's "She's Lost Control."
