Happy Birthday, to Paul Weller!

The legendary Weller, aka The Modfather, formed The Jam in 1976, abruptly ended the band (while still at the top of their game) in 1982, and went on to form another great band, the groove/soul-vibey project, The Style Council. In 1992 he launched his proper solo career with the release of his debut solo album Paul Weller, and he's still at it--he just released a new album, Sonik Kicks.

Weller is a true music visionary--he's enjoyed quite an amazing career and was honored with NME's Godlike Genius Award in 2010. Watch some video from Weller's remarkable career:
