The Stone Roses - Live at Warrington Parr Hall

The Stone Roses shocked and delighted fans today by announcing an impromptu FREE gig at the 1100 capacity Parr Hall in Warrington, England.  The band announced the show via Twitter, Facebook, and their official site a few hours before the show and fans were instructed where to go and what to bring in order to receive a wristband for the concert. 

The Stone Roses kicked off their hour-long set with "I Wanna Be Adored," and ended with "Love Spreads."  Stunningly, they didn't dust off "I Am The Resurrection," and there was no encore.  Liam Gallagher was in attendance and was clearly impressed by the show.  He sent out the following two tweets while at the show: "Stone Roses are back" and "speechless."
