Stone Roses - Barcelona - Club Razzmatazz

The Stone Roses played their first gig of their reunion tour tonight in Barcelona at Club Razzmatazz.  Unfortunately I wasn't there, but Twitter was, and from all accounts the show was AMAZING.  The band entered the stage to "Stoned Love" by the Supremes, then ripped into their set starting with "I Wanna Be Adored."  The band played 13 songs, performed a 12 minute encore of "I Am The Resurrection," then shared a group hug onstage before leaving.

From all accounts, everyone (the band and fans) seemed to be in great spirits.  Take a look at some fan filmed video from the show.  This post will be updated with more video as it becomes available.

"I Wanna Be Adored"

"Waterfall"

"Shoot You Down"

Fun fact: Liam Gallagher was in the house for the gig (and was nice enough to pose with a fan) leaving one to wonder if he'll be stalking joining the Stone Roses on the entire tour (he was at the secret warm up show in Warrington).  Hey, I don't blame Gallagher one bit, because I'd be there too if I could swing it.

Here's video of Liam Gallagher meeting fans on his way out of Club Razzmatazz (lots of fan screaming at first, which dies down somewhat, but you might have to turn the volume up to hear some of his comments.  If nothing else, you get a really good look at his paisley shirt!)

The Stone Roses play Club Razzmatazz in Barcelona again Saturday then the tour continues in Amsterdam at Heineken Music Hall on June 12th.
