As previously reported, on Friday Depeche Mode launched a countdown on their official site which counts down to October 23rd. Rumors have been flying for some time about an October 23rd press conference in Paris, and now it appears the rumors have been confirmed! Depeche Mode's management issued a statement today revealing a press conference will be held October 23rd in Paris at 1:30 pm local time (7:30 am ET) and it will be webcast live on the band's official site. Depeche Mode's management says the band will be making an "exciting announcement," which is highly rumored to be details on their new album and 2013 world tour.
