Stop Me If You Think You Heard This One Before Part II

Earlier today Louder Than War posted a story about a Smiths' reunion, and it appears the report stemmed from another item in the U.K. gossip site Holy Moly.  The Holy Moly report claims the Smiths reunion has been "confirmed by several sources" and there is a high potential of a Glastonbury gig.  From the report:

"It's a done deal.  Dates are booked. Glastonbury is one of four dates, presumably the Saturday on the Pyramid stage."

The report in Holy Moly also brings up the possibility of a Coachella gig in 2013, which led the internet to pull quotes from last week's Morrissey interview with the Courier Mail.  That interview, which I linked to last week, contained comments Moz made regarding a previous Coachella offer, not a new Coachella offer.

UPDATE:  Morrissey's peeps have officially stated (again) that the Smiths are never, ever getting back together.  Meanwhile Johnny Marr didn't bother with a statement and instead posted video of a new song from his forthcoming album (due in January.)  Marr's publicist later made an official statement to NME denying the rumors.   See you in six months.
