A guitar signed by music royalty in Manchester is about to be auctioned off on Ebay starting November 1st. The "Madchester Guitar" auction was organized by Adam Masters, who came up with the idea to raise funds after the death of his friend's newborn baby. Masters spent almost two years contacting bands and obtaining signatures, and he's done a fantastic job - tons of big names signed the guitar, though he ran into a bit of trouble getting in touch with Morrissey. Proceeds from the auction of the "Madchester" guitar are being donated to Clair House Children's Hospice in Liverpool and Francis House Children's Hospice in Manchester.
