David Bowie/Iggy Pop biopic 'Lust For Life'

A biopic on David Bowie and Iggy Pop is in the works.  Lust For Life focuses on the late 70s when Bowie and Pop roomed together in West Berlin and collaborated on three highly influential albums: Idiot, Lust For Life, and Low.  Though the film mainly examines the Bowie/Pop songwriting partnership, the backdrop is West Berlin - a city that played an important role in the artistic world.  The film's co-producer Egoli Tossell Films told the Hollywood Reporter:

"the central character of the film will be the divided city of West Berlin, which in the 1970s became a magnet for artists, hedonists and political activists of all stripes."

No release date has been set for Lust For Life - this week the film is being pitched to international buyers at a film conference in Berlin.
