Electronic - 1991 album reissued as Special Edition boxset

The self titled debut album from Electronic (90s supergroup featuring Bernard Sumner and Johnny Marr), has been physically out of print for years, but EMI has come to the rescue and will be releasing a remastered double disc 'Special Edition' version of the record on April 8th. The expanded version will include a newly remastered (2012/2013) version of the original material, plus a bonus disc filled with rarities, alternate versions, and more. The 'Special Edition' remaster will be available as a physical release in the U.K. and fans in North America will be able to purchase the collection on import (Amazon U.S. should have an import link shortly). *Interestingly enough another 'Special Edition' remastered version (with a different collection of rarities) was released digitally in the U.K. in 2007.
