OMD's Andy McCluskey was interviewed by 6 Towns Radio last week. The interview is great and tons of great topics came up - McCluskey talked about reclaiming electric roots with the new single "Metroland," and how it's important to strike a balance using old elements and new. There was also a discussion about OMD's classic artwork (designed by Peter Saville), why they didn't stay on Factory Records, and how McCluskey's collaboration with Kraftwerk's Karl Bartos came about - their song "Kissing The Machine" was released on 1993's Elektric Music and has been newly reworked for OMD's forthcoming album.
