Simon Raymonde of Cocteau Twins forms Snowbird

Cocteau Twins' Simon Raymonde has formed a new project with vocalist Stephanie Dosen titled Snowbird. The first single, "Porcelain" instantly brings to mind Raymonde's old band, and according to the official Snowbird press release the band is ready for the comparisons. Raymonde states: "It would be a little odd if it didn’t remind people of Cocteau Twins."

The full album moon will be released in January and includes guest contributions from Radiohead's Ed O'Brien and Philip Selway.
