Sparks titled 
A Shower of Sparks aired on 
BBC Radio 4 today.  The documentary, hosted by 
Stuart Maconie, features 
Ron and 
Russell Mael talking about the old days and the evolution of the band. 
 Sonic Youth's 
Thurston Moore also had a few glowing words to say about Sparks, saying he was intrigued by them, and called their 1974 album 
Kimono My House, "a really sort of classic, contemporary rock record," comparing it to 
David Bowie and 
Roxy Music.  Stream the audio documentary

Sparks are currently working on their 22nd studio album.
