the Strokes premiered a cover of
Mazzy Star's classic "Fade Into You." Fraiture told
Rolling Stone he heard Au Revoir Simone perform "Fade Into You" during a radio session, then got in touch with them to collaborate on a slightly different version of the song. The results are pretty amazing -- the vocals stay pretty true to
Hope Sandoval's smooth and dreamy style, but the music is very bouncy and upbeat, and somehow the pairing works really, really, well. Stream it
