The Breeders plot North American tour & plan to debut new material


The Breeders announced dates for a short run of North America today, plus informed fans that they're going to perform some new songs on the tour. Back in March, Kim Deal revealed that the Breeders were just starting to record some new songs, so from the sounds of things, a new album might be released by year's end.

"Since completing our eight-month, 60-date world tour performing Last Splash, we’ve been working on new material.

This September, we will debut a selection of new songs with a series of dates leading up to a show at the Hollywood Bowl where—joined by Carrie Bradley—we’ll share the stage with Neutral Milk Hotel."
