Velvet Underground reissuing self-titled LP for 45th anniversary

Velvet Underground is reissuing its self-titled third album, its first without John Cale, in celebration of the record's 45th anniversary. Several versions of the reissue will be available -- a single disc remaster, double disc deluxe edition featuring 12 bonus live tracks, and a massive six disc super deluxe set. Three of the six discs in the super deluxe set are alternate mixes of Velvet Underground (by Luis Pastor Valentin, aka the Valentin mix, Lou Reed, aka Closet Mix, and a mono promotional mix), and the other three discs include previously unheard mixes, and two live concerts captured in 1969. The remasters will all be released on November 24th. Take a look at the tracklisting for the super deluxe set here and pre-order the collection through Amazon.
