FFS confirm U.S. tour in the works

FFS -- the new project featuring Sparks and Franz Ferdinand -- released their self-titled debut album this week. Today in celebration of the record's release, the band did an AMA on Reddit and fielded questions from fans. During the chat, FFS confirmed they will tour the U.S. and revealed that they're planning to perform some of the songs from the new album, as well as songs from Sparks and songs from Franz Ferdinand. They didn't indicate exactly when the tour will take place, but said they're hoping the news will be announced soon.

FFS also briefly discussed the video for "Johnny Delusional," which includes some fancy camera work:

Ron Mael: "It was this use of repetitive motion that we kind of developed into the video. We didn't have anything to do with the technical bit but it was pretty complex."

Alex Kapranos added, "We all wanted to dress the same as well as to make the character - Johnny Delusional."
