Public Image Limited have announced the release of a new career-spanning greatest hits collection. Rise: The Collection features 16 songs culled from PiL's catalog (1978-2012) and includes an extensive 24 page booklet with liner notes written by PiL, plus pictures from the band's archive. The collection is available to purchase now through Amazon. The track listing for Rise: The Collection is posted below.
As previously reported, Public Image Limited returns with a brand new album What The World Needs Now, on September 4th. The first single from the record will be released in August. Dates for the North American leg of PiL's world tour will be announced shortly.
