The Jesus & Mary announce 'Damage & Joy; premiere new song "Amputation"


The Jesus & Mary Chain officially announced details for their first new album in 18 years. The new album Damage & Joy was produced by Youth; the legendary producer also plays bass on the album.  Phil King (Lush) and JAMC touring drummer Brian Young have also contributed to the album. The Jesus & Mary Chain premiered the first new track from the record today on BBC Music 6. Stream "Amputation" below.

As previously reported The Jesus & Mary Chain are stateside bound later this month. The following dates are only part of a mini-tour, but don't worry -- the band will return to North America as part of their world tour in support of Damage & Joy (dates TBA).
