Midnight Oil announces 3 archival boxsets + North American tour

Midnight Oil return this spring with three archival boxsets and their first world tour in over two decades. The band determined that in today's global political climate it was necessary for them to get back in the game. From their website:

"Their music makes you feel. Their lyrics make you think. And the combined impact live onstage is nothing less than a call to action."

Three unique Midnight Oil boxsets -- The Vinyl Collection, The Full Tank, and The Over Flow Tank -- arrive May 5th:

*The Vinyl Collection: A remastered vinyl edition of the band's 11 studio albums along with two 12" EPs pressed on 180 gm vinyl.

*The Full Tank: The CD version of all of the material found in The Vinyl Collection, plus collects all the band's music videos on a DVD titled 40,000 Watt RSL, and is housed in a miniature replica water tank.

*The Over Flow Tank: Over 14 hours of Midnight Oil material on 4 CDs and 8 DVDs. The audio portion includes unreleased studio material, b-sides, rarities, and live recordings; the DVD portion includes several live concerts and films, including the band's MTV Unplugged performance. The Over Flow Tank also is housed in a miniature replica water tank.

The boxsets are available separately or as bundles and will be released May 5th. Check out all the details and options here.
