Audio documentary: XTC's Andy Partridge


BBC Radio 4 profiled XTC's Andy Partridge in a new episode of their docu-series The Voices Of... This episode is highly recommended for longtime fans of Partridge and XTC or those who just want to learn more about the man who penned countless legendary and influential songs. Near the end of the episode Partridge discusses "Easter Theatre," revealing he tried to sing about Easter and new life, while musically he created sounds to represent nature budding and coming into bloom. Partridge called it his "Beatle-y" moment, one that rivaled Paul McCartney. Stream the brilliant track below:
