Hüsker Dü early material collected on 'Savage Young Dü'

Hüsker Dü's early material including previously unreleased gems have been collected for Savage Young Dü, a new set due out in November through Numero Group.

The collection - released on 3CDs or 4LPs - features remastered editions of their studio output from 1979 - 1982, and is the first in a series of Hüsker Dü approved archival collections planned for release. Savage Young Dü includes an alternate version of the 1982's Land Speed Record, remastered edition of 1983's Everything Falls Apart, In A Free Land, and various demos, live versions, and alternate takes. The massive set includes 69 songs in all; 47 of these are previously unreleased. A companion book featuring 40 previously unreleased photographs and 12,000 word essay by Erin Osmon will be released separately.

Several versions/bundles of the collection are available - all are set to be released in November and are available to pre-order here.
