Monday! Time for a new previously unreleased live song from The Smiths' archives in anticipation of the forthcoming expanded reissues of The Queen Is Dead. Today The Smiths shared "The Boy With The Thorn In His Side," recorded live in New Orleans in September 1986. Like the previous five installments in the series, it will not be included on the newly expanded editions of The Queen Is Dead. Stream below or on Spotify.

The Queen Is Dead will be reissued as a 2CD, 5LP, and 3CD/1DVD box on October 20th with previously unreleased material. The material (original, demos, and previously unreleased material) included on these expanded editions was remastered by engineering guru Bill Inglot who worked with the Smiths previously on The Very Best Of The Smiths (Dan Hersch also contributed to that 2001 compilation).
