The Smiths unearth "Some Girls Are Bigger Than Others" from live archive

After pretty much taking a week off The Smiths are back with another full live track from their archives. This week's gem is "Some Girls Are Bigger Than Others" from their December 12th, 1986 performance at Brixton Academy in London and features some impressive Moz growling. Like the previous installments in the series, this live version will not be included on the newly expanded editions of The Queen Is Dead. Stream below or on Spotify.

UPDATE: The Smiths have now also uploaded the full version of "There Is A Light That Never Goes Out" live in Chicago. [This was last week's song, however they originally only uploaded a short snippet, but have now righted that wrong.]

Fans are encouraged to post memories of The Queen Is Dead and/or The Smiths on social media with a fitting hashtag (for example, #TQID2017) for inclusion on The Queen Is Dead official tribute site. View the page here.

The Queen Is Dead will be reissued as a 2CD, 5LP, and 3CD/1DVD box on October 20th with previously unreleased material. The material (original, demos, and previously unreleased material) included on these expanded editions was remastered by engineering guru Bill Inglot who worked with the Smiths previously on The Very Best Of The Smiths (Dan Hersch also contributed to that 2001 compilation).

All three editions of The Queen Is Dead are available to pre-order through Amazon. 2CD, 3CD/1DVD, 5LP
