Today is Blue Monday 2018 - the day considered by some to be the saddest, most depressing day of the year. Two different equations have been utilized by "experts" to determine the exact date of Blue Monday - debt, weather, stress, and travel all factor in - however most scientists consider the concept of Blue Monday to be questionable at best.
Blue Monday has only been a thing (such that it is) since 2005 and has nothing at all to do with New Order's iconic anthem, but what an excellent excuse* to bust out the vinyl/cassette/CD/whatever and enjoy this timeless classic.
*Keep in mind you never EVER need an excuse to listen to New Order. Just saying.
