Morrissey's debut solo single "Suedehead" turns 30

Morrissey's iconic debut solo single "Suedehead" turns 30 years old this week. The track was released February 27th, 1988 - only months after The Smiths broke up. The beloved single launched Morrissey's incredible solo career and was the first of many highlights.

The video for "Suedehead" features Morrissey's nephew Sam Esty Rayner, who would go on to become a critically acclaimed photographer (and famously broke the news of Moz's bizarre and convoluted police incident in Rome last year).

Viva Suedehead!
