Peter Murphy sidelined again; dates rescheduled


Peter Murphy's odyssey continues. Last week Murphy was forced to postpone the beginning of his residency at The Chapel in San Francisco due to visa issues which he reports stemmed from the recent U.S. government shutdown. Though he was optimistic he'd have things sorted out by now, that is not the case and he's rescheduled the previously rescheduled residency dates that were affected.

The whole situation is a bit messy considering the dates in January/February were rescheduled from last year after Murphy suffered issues with his vocal cords, but he's the ultimate professional as he continues to make every attempt to eventually perform all shows.

Murphy reveals that the tour is now scheduled to begin on February 6th and he's rescheduled all previous shows that were affected. Due to the nature of the venue's schedule and Murphy's schedule, there are a few dates where Murphy will play two shows a night, though he promises each show will be a full show and he'll be "adding something special" at these shows.
