Brian Eno announces 'Music For Installations' boxset


Brian Eno announced details for a new boxset titled Music For Installations. The extensive set arrives on May 4th and features new, rare, and previously unreleased recordings from audio-visual installations from 1986 to present. Three versions of the boxset will be released: standard 6CD set, 9 piece LP set pressed on 180 gram vinyl, and limited edition super-deluxe 6CD set. Each edition includes an original Eno essay and for the deluxe CD, a unique, individually numbered Plexiglass cover book. View the tracklisting below and pre-order now through Amazon.

Meanwhile Eno's recent collaboration with Kevin Shields of My Bloody Valentine will be released as a 12" single on April 21st for Record Store Day. The release features two songs: "The Weight Of History" and "Only Once Away My Son," the latter of which premiered last October as part of Adult Swim's singles series.
