Video: Luna cover The Cure during live session


In January while on tour in support of their new covers album A Sentimental Education and instrumental EP A Place Of Greater Safety, Luna stopped by the KEXP studios in Seattle for a live session. During the interview leader Dean Wareham revealed that Luna recorded several covers that didn't make the album (including songs from Roy Orbison and The Monochrome Set), and said A Sentimental Education was named after a French novel because he liked the title. Luna also performed four songs including their cover of The Cure's "Fire In Cairo." Check out the session below:
