A Certain Ratio announce 'acr:set'; stream new single ft Tony Wilson

A Certain Ratio announced the release of acr:set, a collection of the band's greatest hits. The career-spanning compilation includes beloved songs that frequently appear in the band's live sets (thus the title acr:set), rare 7" and 12" mixes, and two brand new tracks "Make It Happen" and "Dirty Boy" which were recently recorded at Oxygene in Manchester.

Of note, "Dirty Boy" is a funkified jam featuring a sample of Factory kingpin Tony Wilson preparing the band for their 1980 recording session of "The Fox." The track also includes guest vocals from Barry Anderson.

acr:set will be released on colored double vinyl, CD, and digital download October 12th. Pre-order here.

A Certain Ratio formed in Manchester in 1978 and were one of the first signings to Factory Records. The band announced a handful of live dates taking place in the U.K. this fall and are planning on more live dates in 2019 in celebration of their 40th anniversary.
