The The celebrate their 40th anniversary this year - Matt Johnson is marking the milestone by launching a new mailing list/newsletter titled Fifty First State Express which is filled with dispatches, breaking news, discount vouchers, exclusive giveaways, and updates on all things The The.
In the first issue which was sent out today, Johnson announced the download only reissue of The The's 2007 single "Mrs. Mac," which is available here. Johnson also found some copies of the limited edition "Gun Sluts" CD single which he's selling here, plus he's added two new colors of The The hats, and is giving subscribers a 15% discount on merch for the next week.
Those who subscribed to the previous version of The The's newsletter do not have to subscribe to Fifty First State Express (they've migrated the mailing list), but fans should check their spam folder just in case it wound up in the wrong place!
