Meat Beat Manifesto return with 'Opaque Couché'

Meat Beat Manifesto will follow up 2018's Impossible Star with a double album titled Opaque Couché. Jack Dangers and company will release the 16 track record on May 10th. A special limited edition picture disc version pressed on brownish gold vinyl will be released exclusively through Electronic Sound while supplies last (only 150 copies available) and Bandcamp (another 150 copies available).

Stream the first single "Pin Drop" and check out the tracklisting below.

FYI: The record is named after the brownish-gold-green color that is often referred to as "the ugliest color in the world." The color was deemed the most "unappealing" by 1000 smokers in a market research survey commissioned by the Australian government; subsequently the Australian government ruled that all outer surfaces of tobacco packaging must be this color by law in hopes the ugliness would deter sales.

The name "opaque couché" isn't the real name of the color; the true name is Pantone 448 C, but is commonly referred to as "opaque couché" due to a French translation mishap.

REGARDLESS, don't let the color deter you from enjoying the awesomeness of Meat Beat Manifesto. Pre-order a copy here or here.
