Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds return with a new double album titled Ghosteen this week. Cave revealed the details earlier this week via his newsletter The Red Hand Files. Part one of the album includes eight songs; part two features two "long" songs linked by a spoken word piece. Cave describes the songs on the first album as "the children" and the songs on the second album as "their parents." He adds that Ghosteen is "a migrating spirit."
This Thursday, October 3rd Cave will debut Ghosteen at select listening events worldwide and on You Tube, then on October 4th the record will be released digitally and on streaming platforms.
