Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark are set to play a livestreaming event in October.
The virtual concert You Me & OMD takes place October 24th at 4pm ET (9pm UK time) and will see the band performing classics from the critically acclaimed 1981 album Architecture & Morality along with a selection of greatest hits. Proceeds from the concert will be donated to OMD's crew who have been out of work since the pandemic began in February.
The concert is somewhat unusual in that there will be different types of ticketing available - live stream ticket; live stream + exclusive pre-sale ticket access for the band's next tour of UK, Europe and America; and Zoom ticket, which places the fan in the virtual audience, visible to the band as they play. Additionally a very limited quantity of in-person balcony tickets are available and will be sold via a "semi-blind auction."
