Noel Gallagher - Talks solo album, Beady Eye & Stone Roses

Noel Gallagher released his first solo DVD, International Magic Live at the O2 last week.  Gallagher has done a few interviews to promote the release and in a new interview with RTE he confirmed the second solo album recorded with Amorphous Androgynous has been scrapped because "it didn't sound great," and revealed he'll play fewer Oasis songs on his next world tour.  Of course the subject of Beady Eye came up and Noel had a few nice things to say. Sort of:

"I think their album is pretty good to be honest. They're fantastic musicians...I think they've done alright but it's evident that I'm the one who wrote all the singles in Oasis before we split so it's evident that somebody in that group has got to step up and write some singles. But it's good for a first album. it's not as good as my first album though."

Gallagher also talked about the recent Stone Roses' reunion and reported that from what he's observed (he played a lot of the same festivals with them this summer), he's never seen them so happy.
