Elvis Costello's cover of the standard "It Had To Be You" will appear on a new collection celebrating the HBO series Boardwalk Empire. Boardwalk Empire Volume 2, which arrives on September 3rd, also features contributions from Patti Smith, St. Vincent, Matt Berninger (from the National), David Johansen, and more, all accompanied by Vince Giordano & the Nighthawks. Meanwhile Costello's collaborative album with the Roots, Wise Up Ghost, will be released on September 17th through Blue Note Records. The video for album's first single, "Walk Us Uptown," is posted below.
