Beady Eye guitarist Gem Archer suffered a traumatic brain injury on August 1st which was reportedly caused by him falling down the stairs at his home. Archer was treated for skull fractures and remained hospitalized under close observation until medical experts deemed it was safe for him to be released. After he was discharged from the hospital yesterday Beady Eye announced that all live gigs and promotional appearances in August have been canceled in order to give Archer proper time for rest and recovery.
