The Grammy Foundation and Iron Mountain present Living Histories Live: A Conversation With Iggy Pop & Don Was. The event takes place Sunday, October 23rd -- just days before the Detroit premiere of Gimme Danger -- at the Majestic Theater in Detroit. During this exclusive event the Detroit legends will discussing their exceptional life stories with Grammy/Music Cares VP Scott Goldman. Purchase tickets and learn more about the event here.

Meanwhile a nude Iggy Pop art exhibit opens at the Brooklyn Museum on November 4th. The exhibit features naked sketches of Iggy that were created in the spring when Iggy bared all and posed for a group of students at a life drawing art class at New York Academy of Art. British artist Jeremy Deller came up with the idea for Iggy Pop Art Class and explained his concept in the exhibit's press release:

"Iggy Pop has one of the most recognisable bodies in popular culture. A body that is key to an understanding of rock music, and that has been paraded, celebrated, and scrutinised through the years in a way that is unusual for a man. It is also fair to say that it has witnessed a lot. It was for these reasons that I wanted him to sit for a life class."

Iggy Pop Art Class opens November 4th and runs through March 26th. If you're interested in a sneak peek -- view samples from the exhibit here.

Finally, as previously reported the Stooges' documentary Gimme Danger premieres in Detroit on October 28th at the DIA.  More details are posted here.
